🚲 I was riding my bike home from the store, sticking to the right side of the road.

(By the way, how Swiss does that sound? ⬆️ "Oh you know, just a casual bike ride home from the grocery store. While gazing at the mountains. Breathing in the fresh scent of cow poo. Ahh, this is the life!")

Up ahead, I noticed some people walking in the street. 🚶

Behind me, I heard a car coming. 🚗

(Can you guess where this is headed?!)

The people stubbornly strolled in the middle of the road until the car was nearly stopped behind them.

But as soon as the car zoomed ahead, they went right back to walking in the same spot.

🤯🤯🤯

Did I mention that there were sidewalks on both sides of the street?

But wait, more cars kept coming.

And those folks were like a toddler learning not to touch the electrical socket. You move them away, and they immediately go back for more.

Here's my public service announcement to not walk in the middle of the road!

(Yes, that even applies to car-free villages like Zermatt and Wengen. Because there are still e-taxis and construction vehicles and farm trucks.)

Wanna avoid looking like those crazy people playing frogger in the middle of the road? Watch this ⬇️

Bet you can't watch this without laughing and learning.

We may not be trained actors, but we are experts at traveling Switzerland.

There are 71,000km (44,117mi) of roads in Switzerland.

Thankfully, most of those have sidewalks or dedicated walking paths!
