Imagine 3 bean bag chairs plopped on the ground in front of an old-school TV. (Remember the days before flat screens?!)

In the late 1990s, I (Jana) was mesmerized to watch my big brothers play video games like Donkey Kong and 007.

And boy-oh-boy, it was a special day when I actually had a controller in my hand!

Since we only had 2-player games, this privilege was usually reserved for when one of my brothers wasn't home.

Brett still remembers the first time he played Duck Hunt as a 5-year old. Pulling the trigger on that plastic gun and watching the ducks fall to the ground (or seeing the bullets explode harmlessly in the sky!) became the activity of choice for many evenings after that. The invention of technology was so magical back then, right?!

Reader, are you a fan of games?

Now, our home has a closet full of board games, which we play at least once a week.

Even if you're not as into games as we are, let's use our imagination for a minute...
