I'm so glad we packed THIS! ...is it in your bag, too??

  • 🧳 I'm so glad we have this!
  • βœ… True or False...
  • πŸ€“ Behind the scenes: sunshine, music, and race day strategy

We've done a bit of traveling this year. So we want to share the things that we repeatedly find ourselves saying, "I'm so glad we have this!"

Trippd Toiletry Bag

We stayed in 3 different places during our 2 weeks in Italy. And it was easy-peasy to zip up this all-in-one toiletry bag, pack it in my suitcase, and unzip it again at our next destination.

Oh, and it might look compact but it holds ALL of my toiletries. (Way better than the 3 separate bags I used before...)

Portable chargers

Your phone is essential when you travel. It's your πŸ“map, πŸ“Έ camera, ⌚ clock. Maybe your entertainment while you wait in line. And maybe you even use it as an ☎️ actual phone β€” scandalous πŸ˜‰ β€” to call your family while you're out of town.

That's why you need a solid, fast, reliable portable charger like this one.

We have 2, and it's not unusual to see us filming in town connected to this. (Bonus: Little Aplin likes to pretend like it's his phone, haha!)

HumanGear Stax

When we first got these, I wasn't sure if I'd use them. But now, I wish I had twice as many.

These stackable containers are perfect for snacks (in the larger size) and vitamins (in the smaller version).

SPF

Hello Italian sunshine and Swiss altitude. 😎

SPF is essential when we're spending hours outside. I love all of Jane Iredale's SPF makeup (especially this one), but all of us wear the sheer SPF chapstick. It's always stashed in our hiking bag!

Swiss Coupon Pass

This buy-one-get-one-free booklet more than pays for itself! We've already used it more times than we can count, at too many places to list!

If you're following any of our Guides, this is the perfect companion.

Final mention: Away luggage

It goes without saying that we get in our miles with our Away suitcases (the classic carry on) and duffel (the everywhere bag)!

Especially now that our toddler thinks it's fun to just push it around the hotel, haha!

βœ… TRUE or ❌ FALSE?

The SCHILTHORN is a can't-miss mountain excursion in the Jungfrau Region.

If you're not sure, our newest video will help you decide.

Behind the Scenes

A brief look at our lives behind the camera and computer.

LOVING: So many sunny days! Yep, it's hot. But summer is Jana's favorite season. And it's even more fun with a toddler!

LISTENING: One morning a week Little Aplin goes to a friend's house so we can work. You'll find Brett listening to coffee shop jazz music while Jana prefers classical.

PLANNING: Brett's race day strategy. Jana's going to pop along the route to meet him with a change of shoes (and maybe other clothese) and some timely pep talks. (He's running the Jungfrau Marathon!)
