We've noticed that most of our readers and viewers (like you, Reader) don't travel alone.

You're going to Switzerland with your spouse, kids, parents, grandkids, friends, or another family.

More travelers. Different generations. Multiple interests.

Here's the good news:

Switzerland with kids is easier (and better) than you think.

Switzerland might be the easiest country in the world to travel with kids.

Here are 5 quick reasons why:

  1. Kids ride transportation for free.
  2. Playgrounds are everywhere.
  3. Restaurants often have toy corners.
  4. Public bathrooms are shockingly clean.
  5. And it’s one of the safest countries in the world.

For more than a decade, we traveled Switzerland as a couple, or with friends, and often with our parents.

And for the past few years, we've explore this country with a little one.

In fact, after visiting more than 30 European countries, we believe that Switzerland is one of the easier countries to travel as a family.

Sure, we pack more snacks, see more playgrounds, and plan our day around naps. But it's easier than we expected.

So if you've been waiting to plan your trip until your kids (or grandkids) are older, watch this video and see if it changes your thoughts.

Did you know that kids under the age of 16 can travel for FREE on all forms of Swiss transportation?

When the parent has a Half Fare Card or Swiss Travel Pass, the children receive a complimentary Swiss Family Card. This means they ride for FREE when they are with you.

And there are even options for kids to ride free with grandparents or another chaperone.

Bonus Tip: All kids under the age of 6 are FREE!
